General Rules
1.Silence shall be observed in the library.
2. No bag, case, umbrella, personal book, CD-ROM, or floppy disk should be brought into the Library.
3. Library books and documents must be treated with honour, so that it is prohibited to underline, write notes or pull out pages there from.
4. Following consultation, books should be left on the tables for the library staff to re-shelve them.
5. The borrower is obliged to compensate lost or damaged items either by substituting the material or paying for it. Fines will be calculated, according to the Rates of Fine, from the date due to the date when the material was reported lost.
Library Hours
9.30 A.M. to 4.30 P.M. Monday to Saturday (Library will remain closed on all public holidays and fourth saturday)
Loan Period
One month from the date of issue.
Number of books
5 books for pg and pg diploma students.
10 books for research scholars and faculty.
Types of Resources and the Conditions For Use
- Reference documents: Only for consultation within the library
- General books: can be borrowed
- Serials: only for consultation within the library
- Official publications: only for consultation within the library
- Rare books: consultation with the permission of competent authority
- Non-Print documents: only for consultation within the library.
